The Electrotechnical Institute celebrated its 125th anniversary and the retirement of Prof. Braun on July 7. The two-year delay due to the pandemic did not inhibit the celebratory mood. The 170 invited guests enjoyed various technical and historical lectures. One of the highlights was the joint lecture by the current institute management together with Georg Schuisky, who had traveled from Sweden for the occasion. In the lecture, not only was the history of the institute presented, but it was also brought to life through the eyewitness account of Schuisky's father. Another special guest was the grandniece of the Institute's founder Prof. Arnold. Prof. Braun closed the official part of the celebration with his final speech and drew a varied summary of his management of the institute.
